VCQ Student Retreat 2023
12 - 15 June 2023 in Šibenik, Croatia
This year VCQ student retreat is happening in the beautiful city of Šibenik, located on the Croatian coast. The retreat is designed to be an inclusive and laid-back environment where you can meet new people, experience Croatian culture, and participate in engaging and enjoyable activities. Our itinerary includes scientific events, social gatherings, and general discussions about academia, as well as a visit to the University of Split!
It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with your peers and share your research in a relaxed setting.
We warmly invite all graduate students to participate! We believe that diversity is a crucial component of a thriving scientific community, and we are committed to ensuring that everyone feels welcome and appreciated at our retreat. We strongly encourage all graduate students to participate, regardless of his/her/their gender, race, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation.
Please note that the number of participants for the retreat is limited to 45.
Priority will be given to new PhD students, female students, students who have not previously attended a VCQ retreat, and students who are organizing pending events for VCQ.
We hope to accommodate as many students as possible and create a diverse and inclusive community for all attendees.
