05. Jun 2013  — On Monday, April 22nd, 2013, the 3rd lecture of the "Erwin Schrödinger Distinguished Lecture Series" took place at the "Kuppelsaal" of the Vienna University of Technology (TU Vienna). Prof. Johannes Fröhlich, Vice Chancellor of the Vienna University of Technology opened the event with a welcome speach. After beeing introduced by Prof. Arno Rauschenbeutel, Prof. Serge Haroche (Nobel Prize in Physics 2012), ecole normale supérieure and collège de france, Paris, gave his lecture on “Controlling photons in a box and exploring the quantum-classical boundary”.
