Fresnel Prize 2007 awarded to Markus Aspelmeyer
20. Jun 2007 — Markus Aspelmeyer received the Fresnel prize 2007 for fundamental aspects on June 19. The prize is awarded by the EPS for outstanding contributions to quantum electronics and optics made by young scientists before the age of 35.
Markus Aspelmeyer was awarded for his outstanding achievement in the fields of entanglement, quantum communication and quantum physics of nano-mechanical devices.
