Determinism and information flow in measurement based quantum computation

In measurement based quantum computation (MBQC)evolution is driven by measurement, which is inherently random. In order to recover deterministic unitary evolution adaptive corrections are required. The notion of gflow was introduced to capture adaptive correction strategies for computations on graph states. We study gflow and show how it can be understood as information flow during the compution, giving rise to information light cones as well as bounds on classical simulatability of the compution in terms of the size of information light cones.
