In this talk I will discuss the phenomenology related to the non-locality characterizing the propagation of massless fields on causal sets. In particular after a brief review of Causal set theory I will introduce a family of non-local wave operators and discuss some of the associated phenomenology. I will conclude with some work in progress ideas on how to test some aspect of this kind of non-locality with non-relativistic quantum objects.
